Poppy the Puffin is here to shake things up, just like Smokey the Bear! With a catchy, “What’s SUP with single-use plastic?”, Poppy uses fun and engaging communication strategies to inspire change. Our research dives whether this educational program in elementary schools can rally support and shine a spotlight on the need legislative action—think bans and rebate programs in city, county, and state government.
